How to join a Lottery Pool in Oregon

There are many types of pools on our site, so all you need to do is choose which pool you want and order your shares. You do not even need to create a pool yourself; we organize everything and set it all up for you!
How to join a Lottery Bundle in Oregon
Select the lottery for the upcoming draw and mark Lottery Bundles as your Play option. (If available).
Choose which Lottery Pool to join as part of the Bundle.
Choose your numbers for your Personal Entry.

What are the different types of Lottery Pools available?
Random selections - Numbers are chosen at random for a fixed number of lines.
Systematic - Covers all probable unique combinations out of a given set of 7-14 numbers. These numbers are chosen in advance.
Additional numbers match guaranteed - These lines contain every possible combination of the lottery's additional numbers field. This guarantees that the draw's result will match the additional number(s) at least once. All other numbers are selected randomly.
Guaranteed number match - Each line in this category contains one changing number. This ensures your number spans the entire guess range of the lottery. Because of this, the jackpot will match at least one of the numbers (drawn) - guaranteed! All other numbers are chosen at random.

Key terms explained for Lottery Pools and Lottery Bundles
Lines – The lines are the different number combinations that are bought for a pool. As an example, a 100-line pool has 100 unique number combinations (also known as blocks or tickets), giving participants in a pool 100 chances of winning the jackpot. These lines are bought by the pool for the upcoming draw.
Total shares – Each pool is divided into equal parts, made available for purchase. These parts, also known as Shares, determine the portion of the pool’s prizes that you stand to win. For example, if a pool has 50 total shares, each share will give you 2% of the pool’s prizes (100% divided into 50 equal pieces). The more shares you buy, the larger your portion of the prize will be.
Lottery Pool lines - The number of lines depends on the specific Lottery Pool you choose to join. The chances of winning are increased if there are more lines.
Lottery Pool shares - Each Lottery Pool is divided up into Shares. For example, if a pool has 50 Shares, you’ll be entitled to 1/50th of the prizes won by that Lottery Pool (i.e. 2%).
Personal Entry- This is the set of numbers in a Lottery Bundle that you have selected yourself. If this line wins a prize in the draw, it is yours alone. If one of the other lines wins a prize, you share it with those who have other Shares in the Pool.

How do the numbers in a Pool get chosen? Can I pick my own numbers? -
Pool numbers are randomly preselected when the pool is created by TheLotter Oregon. When you join a pool, you are not able to choose or change the pool's numbers. You can view the participating numbers in advance when deciding which pool to join. When you join a Lottery Bundle, you do select your own numbers included in your Personal Entry.
How are Lottery Pools' wins divided?-
When a lottery Pool wins, the winnings are divided equally between the number of total shares. Your percentage of the prize depends on the number of shares you bought in that pool.
What happens if not all the shares in a Pool are purchased?-
Your portion of the pool, your winning odds and your percentage of the prizes are independent of the number of shares sold in the pool, and will remain unchanged. The pool will purchase all participating lines, regardless of how many shares are actually sold, at no extra cost to you.
What happens when I win? -
When your pool wins, TheLotter Oregon will notify you of the win and will ensure that you receive your prize. Each participant in the pool owns a share in the winnings proportionate to how much money he or she contributed to the pool. If you participated in a Lottery Bundle, the winnings from your Personal Entry are yours alone.
